Private. Intimate. Serene.
The Aquamare Estate is a rare and unique property featuring a 24,000 square feet enclave comprised of three beachfront villas, creating the perfect opportunity for a family estate or your own superior, private resort compound.
Located in very preferred Virgin Gorda, one of the British Virgin Islands archipelago’s most private islands. The enclave faces the famous Sir Francis Drake Channel. The channel’s clear turquoise waters are home to what has been coined the Billionaires Water Way, location of Richard Branson’s Necker Island and Moskito Island, as well as Google’s Larry Page, owner of Eustatia Island.
Villa Aquamare is set on the western coast of the Island at Mahoe Bay, a cove North of Rosewood’s Little Dix Bay, and perfectly aligned to enjoy daily – the dramatic Caribbean sunsets. The enclave is adorned by nature with 2 reefs perfect for snorkeling, paddle boarding and swimming which protect the property from the West, and with the hills of the Gorda Peak National Park that protects it from winds coming from the East.
Villa Aquamare is currently in operation as a three-villa boutique resort, offering a total of fifteen exquisite en-suite bedrooms, plus a two-bedroom manager’s house.
It was built with the very highest standards of construction and finishes using local stonework, rich hardwoods, and travertine marble. Aquamare’s hallmark features include the double layered Cathedral ceilings in the casually elegant Great Room, expansive private balconies in each room, private infinity pools in each villa, and spacious open-air living areas. And, all three villas open onto a sandy recreation area adjoining the main beach and provides complete privacy guests.
The Aquamare Enclave was best described as “A place where time seems to have paused at that magical moment when elegance and understated luxury reigned.”
